I too had my PPD test (skin test for TB) come out positive but i don't know exactly how big the size was.
I just came from a civil surgeon who said that i might have to undergo the treatment for it if the size was above 10 mm. (my lawyer says to go to the doctor and get a medical exam done again would be the most practical and quickest way to respond to the RFE.

Beyond that, what more can he do than what the IV core team is doing with the lawmakers? Before you waste everybody's time with multiple posts singing the praises of a person, please carefully analyze how they can benefit the whole organization. Use your brains and don't just be awed by his knowledge!

Yes, you can move to H4 and then to H1-B as long as that H1-B is filed within 12 months. Otherwise, your application will be subject to 65K cap limit
H4 can be filed onself, I have seen some of my friends do it. To file AOS once PD is current, it is essential that one be in H1-B status.

after 180 days it doesn't make a difference whether i-140 is approved or not, one can change job..

provided they find that your I-140 was "approvable" at that 180 day mark. If at that point they feel it was not (or worse try to issue an RFE to your old employer) you could be in trouble. Safest to wait for approval.

I have a long layover at New Delhi airport. I am reaching their at 8PM and my next flight in the morning at 7:30AM. Is there any accommodation facility within airport? Or Do i need to go to city? Use G325A since it has four pages. Each page will be sent to different places written at the left bottom of each page. My lawyer sent me G325A.
I disagree. if you read the instructions on Form I-485 it clearly states nder the inital evidence that you are required to submit Form G325A. No where did they mention GA 325.
So if i were you, I would agree to the earlier post to submit the G325A along with all your details in a letter or wait for a receipt.

:confused: My H1B is about to expire in Oct 2007 and I haven't yet filed for 7th year extension. I have approved I-140 with April 2006 PD. Should I file for 7th year ext. of H1B or I-485 or both?
Is it safe to file for extension now or will it affect I-485 filing in July if the extension takes 2-3 months to be approved? My company is asking me for documents to file for extension and I have no idea about their plans for I-485 filing.
Also, less importantly, if I file for H1B extension, will I get 1 year ext. or 3 year ext? :confused:

I have a new eos 350 and am slowly starting to learn to use it. One problem I seem to be having is that on some of my flower shots I am finding that the reds and yellows seem to get blown. I am sure the exposure is right because I bracket like crazy. And I am shooting in raw and then use the slidebar and curve in the photoshop CS raw converter to tone down the image untill the clipping is all gone. But there is still no detail in the area in question - which was the area that showed up as blown out or clipped in the raw image.
The area I am talking about is the petal on the far side of the flower near the center of the image.
I would have assumed that because it shows up as clipped in the initial RAW image then there is no recoverable detail. However if I desaturate the image almost completely or add reds I do get some detail in the blown area.
I am using a photoshop colourspace in the camera. Saturation and exposure are set to normal.
Is this a problem with me or with the camera?

I was on L1 got h1b and started working for h1b employer in Oct 2007. meanwhile my wife and kid traveled to India and in Chennai consulate got 221g for latest salary slips in April 2008. in 2 weeks they got h4 stamped. after one year I traveled to India in July 2009 and got h1b stamped.

from over-represented countries. For instance, some workers who became

permanent residence five years earlier.
A variety of proposals have been advanced for permanent employmentbased
immigration to allow for more high-skilled workers and to reduce wait

Check with a good attorney but as far i know, if you get paid by the for-profit consulting company (even if they place you at non-profit org), you will be subjected to H1B cap.
If your H1B paperwork (i-765) is directly from a non-profit org (like Univ, Govt, etc), then only are you cap exempt.
Also remember, if you ever want to txfr from non-profit to for-profit, you will be again subjected to cap. This assumes you were never counted against the for-profit company cap in any fiscal year quota.
