I am also in similar situation.
I have pending I-485 and used AC21 to switch to the new company but I am still in H1B status. However, my wife is using EAD and she need to travel using AP.
Can anyone suggest whether there will be any issue in travelling outside USA, if I (Primary applicant) is still in H1B status but used AC-21 and wife is using EAD (has to use AP)?

Instead of doing the same old boycott and display a propensity of being destructive, I suggest we should work an extra day and get a letter from our respective employers applauding our contributions. This will not only show our constructive value to the society but also help to alienate ourselves from the illegal alien. The employer letters then can be bunched together and sent to all the major news bureaus and influential senators/congressmen to advocate our cause.

Just now my lawyer called to tell that she got all my receipts , filed on july 2nd but my wifes application was rejected for "insufficient filing fees", I had put in a single check for $745 , how can this be, it was both in the same fedex packet, she says it is some "mailroom error", so she sent back the application with a letter and my receipt copy to accept. My app also had a $745 check and that was receipted,

Just put in my year.
When you sign for membership, there is a question you answer about EB category and PD, so I guess all 8600+ members have that. I mean we already have the information and most of the members seem to be in S/W.
Is there anyway we can use this information thats in out database already, to come up with numbers? I assume that it should be do-able, however I am practically ignorant when it comes to computers. I mean I can use word and surf on the net, but thats it, but among all the experts we have here, maybe someone can work something out.

The same happened to me in Oregon. Though they have all immigration information about me the person is not able to see/understand and asked me to come after 10days.
Normally they take 5-6 days if they are really expecting some info.
Try calling after few days and check with different officer. Not all of the DMV staff are trained to understand all aspects of immigration.

IV should work closely with Senator Cornyn on this amendment. IV can contact him and talk about re-introducing the amendment and can coordinate w/ him in persuing other senators.
IV should directly bring up issue w/ Senator Hiliary Clinton. She is getting lot of contribution from Indian community. Her action do not match her words of supporting our cause.

We have a very similar case as yours...No FP and RFE on AP....
our 485 is NSC>CSC>NSC ...hence it is slow...my lawyer asked to wait for another month (60 from notice days)
RFE on AP is processed at NSC>CSC...
which means my 485 is back in NSC and AP is still at CSC....no connection between two applications.

I have this house with full floor-to-ceiling windows, and was using natural morning light, diffused by the fog that has hung over the bay for the last week in the AM. I used the camera's meter, either spot or center weighted, with manual bracketing when I thought that was insufficient, as was the case with the wreath & red roses.

I was using the 1DMII, and three lenses; the 50mm f/1.8, 100mm f/2.8 Macro, and my newly purchased 16-35mm f/2.8L. As I said before, I made a cheesy PVC pipe frame and welders clips to hang backgrounds (<10 min fabrication time, <$10). All cases used low f stops, 2-6, & long exposures at low ISO for better quality. I was using the low f stops to help hide the imprefections in the background and give the soft focus effect the customer is looking for.

My wife attended for H4 stamping at Hyderabad consulate yesterday, 10/13/09. The consulate officer was asking for my current visa copy even though my wife gave my H1B extension approval copy with valid I-94.
Here is the immigration status so far:
1. Current H1 valid from Oct 09-Sep 11 with I-94
2. Earlier changed from L1 to H1 in April 2007. Then traveled to India using AP as I filed for 485 in Aug 07.
3. Had L1 visa stamping in Jan 2006.
So my old passport has L1 visa and new passport has AP stamp. Now I am thinking to answer the US Consulate Hyderabad explaining my current status - that I have a approved H1 petition but no visa stamping.
Please let me know your suggestions!!! Is there any chance that the visa can be rejected and revoked.
Now my last option is to apply for AP for my wife while she is in India.

You can tell the US Consulate that you dont have a H1 Visa Stamped in the Passport. I dont think the Consular Officer will revoke your H1 over that, unless there is any fraud involved. Unfortunately, you cannot file AP while your wife is outside US.

I am planning on moving from Company A to Company B. I have an approved I-140 from Company A which was approved in Sept 2007 and also applied for 485 on July 2nd 2007. It has been almost 1.5 yrs since I applied for 485 and I-140 approval.
Planning to move from Company A to Company B. Company A will not revoke my I-140 that is for sure. I am moving to a good company with 1000+ workforce and in an upcoming industry. It is not a consulting firm. It is a product based company. My wife is currently on EAD and is relying on it to work.
What are the odds that my AC21 may be wrongfully denied. I am having a hard time sleeping while thinking about this. I am on my H1. Can she still use her EAD while we file a petition for Motion to Reopen in the event that the 485 is wrongfully denied or does she have to change to H4 immediatly.
Can some one share your thoughts.
